Qualifications

  • Two-year post secondary diploma in Information Technology.
  • Five+ years of enterprise information security and network design experience.
  • Certifications in cybersecurity (CISSP/SSCP/GSEC/CEH).
  • Knowledge of NIST, CIS or ISO27001 security controls.
  • Proficiency with security and network monitoring tools including EDR/MDR.

Responsibilities

  • Form and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Deliver specialized security insights and collaborate across teams.
  • Coordinate security initiatives and ensure compliance.
  • Evaluate and implement security enhancements to protect the network.
  • Collaborate with departments, vendors, and agencies to address threats.
  • Design, implement, and maintain a robust security architecture.
  • Manage advanced monitoring tools and incident playbooks.
  • Assess security requirements for new software/hardware and document decisions.
  • Lead incident response and coordinate with IT for remediation.
