Cybersecurity Analyst (Vulnerability Management)

CMHC is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join its Office of Security as part of its digital and organizational transformation. This transformation aims to respond to rapidly evolving threats, increasing complexity in technology environments, and the importance of regulatory compliance.

About the role: As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be part of a multidisciplinary, proactive, and committed team. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to real-time security alerts, analyzing, understanding, and resolving incidents before they escalate.
  • Detecting vulnerabilities, conducting vulnerability scans, and correcting or recommending appropriate protection measures.
  • Securing teleworking and the cloud, setting up secure access, managing identities, and automating controls.
  • Supporting innovation projects, working with IT teams to secure new tools or applications ("secure by design").
  • Automating repetitive tasks, developing scripts or tools to save time and improve security daily.
  • Participating in post-incident investigations, understanding what happened, learning from it, and improving processes.
  • Creating a real security culture, training, informing, exchanging, and making cybersecurity simpler and accessible to all.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Passion, curiosity, and love for both technology and human contact.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in vulnerability management, including vulnerability scans, prioritization, remediation, and coordination with IT teams.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a combination of studies or relevant work experience.
