Job summary

KPMG is seeking a Manager to lead its Cyber Security team in Vancouver/Victoria, delivering cybersecurity transformation through leadership, advisory work, and technical delivery. You will oversee engagements, mentor teams, and contribute to business development across client industries.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in cybersecurity or technology consulting, with expertise in risk management, security architecture, and governance.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in cybersecurity or technology consulting.
• Experience defining or implementing security controls across multiple technology architecture layers.
• Apply standards such as NIST, ISO, OSFI, and ISF to enterprise security strategy and risk assessments.
• Experience designing cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps, and target operating models.
• Knowledge of security risk management, security architecture, vulnerability and patch management, IAM, cloud security, and privacy.
• Experience with cyber incident response and communicating security strategies to stakeholders.
• Assets include CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, ITIL, PCI QSA, CIPP/C, TOGAF, SABSA.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity transformation engagements for clients across industries.
• Assess challenges and recommend practical, cost-effective risk solutions.
• Contribute to technical engagements including design and implementation.
• Champion threat/risk assessments, threat modelling, IAM, and vulnerability management.
• Support proposals, client relationships, and research.
• Mentor teams, manage performance, and share knowledge.
• Collaborate across service lines to grow Cyber services.
