The role focuses on reviewing security events, auditing IT security systems, and collaborating with teams to improve security posture. Ideal for students pursuing Cyber Security/CS with a strong desire to learn.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a post-secondary degree program such as Cyber Security or Computer Science; certifications pursued are a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate results clearly.
• Ability to manage deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and adapt to change.
• Proficient with Windows OS, Active Directory and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Monitor in-place IT security solutions to ensure efficient operations.
• Respond to Cyber Security incidents and update incident handling procedures.
• Review logs and reports to identify suspicious or anomalous activity.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve security issues and improve processes.
• Investigate and document security vulnerabilities and remediation steps.
