They serve in sea, land, air environments, and on deployed operations worldwide. Exchange positions with allied nations like the US are also possible.

Followed by college-level courses in network security topics, and a 16-week course at CFSCE in Kingston covering cyber operations, data analysis, security, and equipment operation. Further specialized skills training is available in areas like vulnerability assessment, digital forensics, malware analysis, and cyber event mitigation. Career progression and promotions are possible for dedicated personnel.
