    WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

    • RBC Cyber Intelligence Group is looking for a Cyber Intelligence Automation and Integration Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will actively support the effort to advance the Cyber Intelligence Group’s operational technologies via automation as well as ML/AI to integrate machine readable intelligence products into various stakeholder’s systems.

    WHAT WILL YOU DO?

    • Support the evaluation, implementation and administration of cyber intelligence platforms and technologies.

    • Develop scripts and playbooks to automate intelligence tasks and delivery of intelligence products.

    • Develop ML/AI capabilities to increase productivity and operational efficiency.

    • Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis.

    • Develop and operationalize solutions to seamlessly integrate high fidelity threat intelligence into security controls.

    WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

    Must have:

    • College Diploma (or equivalent) in Computer Technologies, Information Security or related field.

    • Working knowledge of software development lifecycle, DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

    • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript for developing automated security solutions.

    • Demonstrated ability to articulate technical matters to various audiences in an effective manner through written finished reports, presentations, or verbal briefings.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.

    Nice to Have:

    • Understanding of the Global Cyber Threat Landscape including threat groups, attack vectors and methods of exploitation impacting the Finance Sector as well as regions RBC operates in.

    • Experience in cyber threat intelligence lifecycle and proven knowledge of typical adversary and intrusion set tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Ability to identify and apply appropriate Threat Intelligence terms and frameworks to track and communicate adversary capabilities or activities. Familiar with intelligence analysis tools including Threat Intel Platforms (TIPs).

    • Experience in building machine learning models and deploying them to production to make real decisions, then measuring the impact of these decisions.
