Cyber Detect Data Engineering Specialist / SIEM Engineering Specialist

What you’ll do

We are looking for a talented Data Platform Support Engineer to join our team. As a pioneer in digital transformation, you will be at the forefront of innovation, driving success in the development and maintenance of the SAP Security Data Mesh. You will be part of a global team fostering industry innovation with access to world-class training and development opportunities.

What you bring :

• 3+ years’ experience in technical support or a similar role, with a focus on security operations
• Basic knowledge of security information and event monitoring (SIEM)
• Experience supporting and operating cutting-edge data architectures ensuring maximum service availability and performance
• Ability to collaborate with internal product teams and services to deliver tailored data-driven solutions
• Continuous learning to stay updated on emerging data technologies and trends
• Experience administering and / or operating platforms like

Splunk and / or similar platforms

• Data streaming tools e.g., Cribl, Kafka
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and data tools
• Knowledge of Linux kernel, command line, and system diagnostics
• Exposure to scripting basics and regular expressions
• Strong multi-tasking, time management, and workload prioritization skills
• Support for cyber detection content development and asymmetric hunting services
• Knowledge of information security frameworks (e.g., PCI, NIST, SOC, GDPR)
• Experience automating and integrating large complex datasets
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM disciplines or equivalent experience
• Industry security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc.) are preferred
• Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)
