Job summary

School District No. 6 (Rocky Mountain) is seeking a Noon Hour Supervisor to oversee students during the lunch period. The role is temporary and part-time, with immediate start through June 30, 2027.

You will rely on knowledge of school routines and strong communication to maintain safety and positive behavior. Experience with youth is desirable, and First Aid is an asset.

The successful candidate will work closely with administrators and staff to ensure a smooth noon hour for students.

Qualifications

• Sufficient knowledge of school routines to supervise students.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to relate to children.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with District staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during the noon hour according to district rules.
• Ensure student safety and appropriate behavior in common areas.
• Coordinate with school staff as needed.

Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

• 1. Sufficient knowledge of school routines to effectively supervise students.
• 2. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• 3. Ability to relate to children.
• 4. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all District staff.
• 5. Other duties as assigned.

Desirable Training and Experience

• 1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2. Experience in working with youth is desirable.
• 3. First aid would be an asset.

Rate of pay:

As per Collective Agreement 440

$25.90/hr
