Job Description

Ensure the proper and timely movement and clearance of freight, while providing exceptional customer service within the Customs Brokerage department.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
  • Meet company standards of 52 hours training per year
  • Ensure customer profiles are updated and current for assigned accounts
  • Manage an allocated book of business for all customs needs
  • Navigate the CARM Client Portal
  • Follow SOPs
  • Coordinate and dispatch freight upon request
  • Submit documents to CBSA
  • Complete entry requirements for various entries; Standard Filing, E29B, C-Type, V-Type, etc.
Qualifications
  • CCS or Intro CSS qualification is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, Windows, Outlook, and various PC-based software
  • Willingness to learn and develop industry skills
  • Sense of urgency
  • Positive attitude and an innate desire to help people
