We are seeking a Senior Customs Account Analyst

This role involves preparing documentation, monitoring, and coordinating customs releases for imported shipments in compliance with customs regulations.

Your Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by handling queries and resolving issues related to Customs clearance, including reject notices, eManifest errors, and RMD Corrections.
- Prepare customs and internal documents, process high volumes of complex entries and invoicing to meet KPIs, conduct tariff research and classification, and escalate issues or delays to the Team Leader.
- Stay informed about current and pending customs regulations and policies.
- Document errors using the Error Reporting Process (CND only).
- Complete complex customs entries and guide junior and international Customs Analysts.
- Accurately finalize invoicing of customs entries to CBSA within deadlines (CND only).
- Coordinate cross-border releases including export pedimento and drayage (US SB only).
- Maintain strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Utilize Microsoft Office programs effectively, including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
- Identify potential risks and resolve problems efficiently or collaborate with leaders for solutions.
- Lead by example in fostering a fast-paced, accountable, and continuously improving team environment.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet KPIs and deadlines.
- Lead and mentor team members, providing a positive work environment and resolving escalated issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CCS Designation (US NB and CND only)
- At least 3 years of experience in customs brokerage or logistics
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office
- Advanced knowledge of LVS program
- Understanding of FTAs and their application to shipments
- Knowledge of PGAs and research skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills
- Experience completing complex customs entries
- Legally eligible to work in Canada/USA/Mexico
- Valid passport and willingness to travel occasionally
