Qualifications

  • 3-5 years related experience on a parts counter with strong customer service background.
  • Basic knowledge of Wajax’s lines of business including heavy equipment and Material Handling experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Customer Satisfaction with all existing customers by delivering the utmost in customer service.
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and pricing information.
  • Support preparation of customer presentations, tenders, RFQs, and Project Quotations as required.

The Opportunity

Deliver consistently high levels of service to customers and branch by determining requirements; answering inquiries; resolving problems and fulfilling requests. Work closely with branch personnel and customer to ensure transparency of all customer interactions and order / quote status providing excellence in the Customer Experience

The Role
  • Manage Customer Satisfaction with all existing customers by delivering the utmost in customer service
  • Provide technical and product advise for all customer and branch inquiries
  • Provide technical information regarding product selection and is viewed as a solutions provider.
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and pricing information
  • Develop proposals and quotes based upon client needs, specifications and product offerings.
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sales items
  • Responsible for processing orders for internal and external customers, including quoting, order entry, expediting and order follow up
  • Support with preparation of customer presentations, tenders, RFQs and Project Quotations, as required
The Candidate
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset
  • Education : College diploma / Post secondary Education
  • Work Experience : 3-5 years related experience on a parts counter with a strong customer service background.
  • Knowledge : Basic knowledge of Wajax’s lines of business including heavy equipment and Material Handling experience.
  • Proficiency : Strong oral and written communication skills. Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
