Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Calgary is seeking an Outside Parts & Service Representative to drive sales and after-sales support for our Construction and Forestry divisions. This outside sales role focuses on promoting parts and services and growing the customer base.

You will build relationships, prospect new accounts, manage territory, and work with the Parts & Service teams to improve profitability while representing Brandt with professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in the Heavy Equipment industry.
• Ability to travel within the territory and work flexible hours.
• Valid Driver's License and clean drivers abstract.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction
• Assist the Parts & Service departments to increase profitability and performance
• Regularly prospect and cold call new accounts to discuss new promotions and programs Implement yearly territory plan including a customer target list to maximize sales potential
• Visit customers in Area of Responsibility (AOR); a minimum of 1 visit per month
• Keep customers current on new products and services
• Develop prospective customers with a goal of 2 per month
• Follow-up with customers on unit and machine performance
• Maintain and utilize the database records related to each customer including sales meetings, opportunities, quotes, notes, and any other documentation as required
• Work cooperatively with management to meet and maximize budget goals and expand customer base by presenting and implementing new marketing strategies
• Gather competitive product and pricing information and supply to management Participate in all required training and development opportunities
• Follow up on customer concerns and communicate effectively to the appropriate Management Team
• Maintain cleanliness, scheduled maintenance, and inventory for the company vehicle
• Other duties as assigned
