Customer Success Manager – Controls NAM (North Region)

Job Description Summary

The Customer Success Manager will be responsible for managing and developing strong relationships with existing contractual customers, generating controls aftermarket services growth within this customer base. They will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring our products and services deliver value and help customers achieve their business goals, while driving growth through current and future Controls Lifecare Service (CLS) agreements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage post-sales relationships, including training, professional services, technical support, renewals, expansion, and advocacy.
  • Oversee contract setup, delivery, and financials (Revenue & CM).
  • Develop expertise in controls discipline, contributing to strategy and policy development.
  • Build proactive, long-term customer relationships focusing on renewal rates and NPS.
  • Implement engagement strategies to ensure high customer satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Serve as the first contact for contract and customer issues.
  • Educate customers on product value, identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Manage operational plans, commercial strategies, and proposal development for aftermarket services.
  • Relay customer insights to internal teams, including Sales, Product, Technical Support, and Engineering.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in industrial controls/mechanical engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 6 years in relevant fields.
  • Experience with GE Controls Products, especially Mark VIe control systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and program management abilities.
  • 10+ years experience with GE control systems.
  • 5+ years experience in OT Cyber Security and field engineering.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.

The base pay range is $118,100 - $147,600 USD annually, with potential for a 15% performance bonus or incentives. Additional benefits include healthcare, retirement plans, tuition assistance, and more. The position is remote, with no relocation assistance provided.
