Job Purpose

On any given shift, you will be the face of Coast Capital in the branch, balancing friendly advice and service with the ability to proactively listen and identify opportunities to deepen member relationships. By providing support and financial advice, we help members build a better future, together. This role is posted as a Customer Service Representative but internally titled a Member Service Representative, always prioritizing members at the center of our work.

This is a part-time position with a minimum of 15 hours per week, up to 30 hours depending on staffing needs.

Accountabilities

  • Be the first friendly face members see at Coast Capital, exemplifying our values: Build connection, Act with courage, Re-imagine.
  • Build relationships with members and deliver an outstanding experience by addressing their needs and proactively exploring future opportunities.
  • Educate members about our digital channels (online banking and mobile platforms) for a seamless experience.
  • Contribute to team results by listening, identifying opportunities, and partnering with colleagues to meet members' financial needs.
  • Develop a strong understanding of how Coast Capital supports financial well-being.
  • Create positive experiences by taking ownership of resolving and preventing banking issues.
  • Be vigilant for counterfeit money or illegal transactions as the first line of defense.
