VFS Global, the world’s largest outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide, is currently hiring a Submission/Travel Officer for our Visa Application Center in Ottawa. The office will support end-to-end visa application operations, ensuring quality and compliance with specialized processes.

Travel within the city will be part of this role.

Submission Officer
Role and Responsibilities
  1. Scrutinize documents and collect applications for visa processing.
  2. Transport packages within the city.
  3. Handle customer/applicant queries personally or via email and telephone.
  4. Manage cash and bank transactions if assigned, ensuring 100% accuracy.
  5. Record and maintain all application data with accurate and timely data entry into the system, ensuring zero errors.
  6. Manage administration and logistics of passport delivery to the consulate, applicants, or logistics companies.
  7. Maintain compliance with standard operating procedures and manuals without deviation.
  8. Inform applicants about available Value Added Services and ensure their delivery.
  9. Encourage feedback from applicants regarding services and overall experience.
  10. Complete the entire process within the mandated Turnaround Time.
  11. Assist Deputy Manager/Operations Manager in executing WB Project.
Experience and Qualifications Required
  • Fluent in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy under tight timelines.
  • Proactive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Flexible and willing to work additional hours if needed.
