We are seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team!
Responsibilities :
Under the supervision of the Field Customer Service Manager, this role provides technical support for KELK products through installation, commissioning, factory acceptance testing, adherence to service schedules, and customer training.
- Ensure readiness for commissioning using SPS, site progress summaries, and weekly customer contacts.
- Supervise installation activities including cold and hot commissioning, performance testing, customer training, and documentation sign-off.
- Follow up on post-commissioning actions, update system configurations, host review meetings, and gather customer feedback.
- Assist in pre-shipping activities such as system testing, factory acceptance testing, and customer training.
- Test new software releases.
- Update drawings, part lists, manuals, and training materials.
- Design maintenance activities and create Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
- Participate in new product development projects.
- Support project teams and provide technical assistance to sales and production departments.
- Validate new product versions.

Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or post-secondary diploma in a technology field with relevant experience
- PEng., E.I.T., or similar designation preferred
- 2-5 years of experience with control, automation, and electromechanical systems in industrial, automotive, or aerospace environments (other markets considered)
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, computer, and networking tools (e.g., digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (electrical schematics, mechanical outlines, network diagrams)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
- Experience with PLCs and automation systems
- Knowledge of industrial safety procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professionalism and ability to build relationships with customers
- Strong organizational and time management skills, adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
