Job summary

Univar Solutions in Guelph, ON is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to handle orders from start to finish in a hybrid work setting. You will be the single point of contact, coordinate fulfillment, and provide information to customers while ensuring a consistent experience.

You’ll develop solutions to customer needs, build long-term partnerships, and display strong communication and teamwork. You’ll prioritize, multitask, and interface confidently with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in a related field with two years of customer service experience.
• Strong organizational aptitude, detail orientation and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to multitask and prioritize.
• Team player, customer-oriented and capable of interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word.

Customer Service Specialist

Reporting to the Assistant Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Specialist is responsible for handling activities including order taking, processing orders from beginning to end, providing a single point of contact to ensure a consistent customer experience, coordinating order fulfillment, providing necessary information to customers, and problem resolution.

• Resolve problems and non-conformances quickly
• Other duties as required

What You’ll Need

• University degree or College diploma with specialized training in a related field (i.e., chemistry, sales, or customer service) with two (2) years of customer service experience
• Must have a strong organizational aptitude, be detailed oriented and have excellent time management skills
• Must have strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Must be a team player who is customer‑oriented and self‑motivated with a proven ability to interface confidently with internal and external stakeholders
• Must have strong computer skills using Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word
