Job Overview

Reporting to the Supervisor, Operations, as the Customer Service Representative, you are the first point of contact for customers needing help with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services, as well as handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

  • Answering phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from customers and listening to customers’ questions, needs and concerns and providing accurate information and solutions, and recommending appropriate products or services. Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services or products.
  • Addressing customer concerns proactively and resolving issues efficiently. Handling customer complaints and returns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Scheduling service appointments and coordinating with technicians.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and service history.
  • Managing customer accounts and ensuring accurate billing and payment processing.
  • Promoting and selling HVAC equipment and solutions to customers and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell related products and services.
  • Communicating effectively with customers, technicians, and other team members.
  • Ensuring clear and concise communication to avoid misunderstandings.
  • Exceeding customer expectations and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Essential Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service and/or administrative related experience.
  • Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in the Construction and Homebuilding industry is considered an asset.
  • A basic understanding of HVAC systems and terminology and the ability to explain technical details to customers is preferred.

Work Conditions

You primarily work in an office setting during regular business hours. Overtime may occasionally be required.
