Customer Service Representative & Inventory Analyst

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative & Inventory Analyst will provide service to external customers and support internal management.

Responsibilities include :

  • Answer customer calls regarding complaints, back orders, return authorizations, price requests, and product information; communicate product changes or price differences promptly and courteously.
  • Process orders via phone, EDI, email, and fax; address issues like price discrepancies and product number changes.
  • Maintain and update customer and supplier accounts with invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Manage customer database and compile reports on sales, backorders, and inventory.
  • Prepare shipping and tracking information for customers.
  • Act as liaison between warehouse and customers for orders, shipping errors, and inquiries.
  • Handle clerical duties including calls, greeting visitors, and scheduling.
  • Track inventory from manufacturing to delivery and assist with physical counts and discrepancy resolution.
  • Create purchase orders and receive inventory into systems.
  • Coordinate supply chain activities with production schedules.
  • Manage inventory forecasting and assist with inventory management.
  • Receive and document product complaints and adverse reactions from customers and healthcare professionals.

Skills & Qualifications

  • University degree required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate level).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in customer service and office environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • French language skills are an asset but not required.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask under pressure.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and material planning.
