Job summary

The Ottawa Humane Society is seeking a Customer Service Representative: Foster to support the foster program in Ottawa. You will coordinate placements, assist volunteers, and help ensure the health and welfare of animals in foster care.

You will match animals with foster homes, monitor care, coordinate veterinary visits, and maintain foster records and facilities. A strong customer service background and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in customer service.
• Experience working closely with, and supporting, volunteers is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Professional working proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• Assistant Veterinary Technician certificate, or a combination with one year relevant clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
