Job Posting Description:

Your outgoing personality, communication skills, and commitment to excellent customer service will leave a lasting impression on customers purchasing wine, beer, and spirits.

Role and Responsibilities:
  1. Engage with customers, share product knowledge, and provide a top-notch customer experience, whether operating cash registers or assisting on the store floor.
  2. Demonstrate great interpersonal skills to create positive interactions with customers, co-workers, and trade representatives.
  3. Assist with receiving inventory, unloading trucks, handling products, replenishing stock, and maintaining store standards.
  4. Perform job duties that may include lifting cases up to 40 lbs/18 kg, standing for extended periods, and processing transactions while ensuring excellent customer service.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Enjoy working with the public and delivering exceptional customer service daily.
  • Be eligible to work in Canada and at least 18 years old.
  • Agree to undergo a Criminal Background Check at your own expense prior to employment (a recent satisfactory check within six months is acceptable).
Additional Information:
  • Hours depend on operational needs and are scheduled based on seniority and availability, primarily during peak periods like evenings and weekends.
  • Availability during busy seasons (e.g., holidays, tourist seasons) is required.
  • Uniform consists of a light grey shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
  • This position is part of a union, with dues at 1.35% of gross earnings.
