On behalf of our client, Oberland Agriscience Inc., we are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their growing team in Halifax.

As leaders in the circular economy movement, they operate a state-of-the-art black soldier fly larvae (BSFL) farm that upcycles food waste into nutrient-rich, low-environmental impact products. The Opportunity

As a dedicated Customer Service Representative, reporting to the VP of Sales, you will be the frontline connection between Oberland + its customers ~ delivering a best-in-class experience at every touchpoint. You’ll play a key role in driving customer satisfaction, while supporting operational + administrative functions within the sales cycle. The Ideal Candidate

You are a people-first professional with a dedication to building trust-based relationships + delivering exceptional service. You are detail-oriented, extremely organized, +proactive in managing both data + customer workflows. With a knack for understanding technical product information, you’re able to problem-solve + collaborate across multiple departments to ensure customer success. Bonus if you’ve ever built or managed a customer satisfaction program from scratch.

Responsibilities
  • Efficiently handle customer queries + concerns, ensuring prompt + high-quality responses in line with Oberland’s standards for excellence.
  • Collect + process sales orders while managing accurate sales data.
  • Track + improve customer satisfaction metrics + provide valuable feedback to marketing.
  • Liaise with cross-functional departments to ensure timely sample deliveries + order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate + up-to-date customer data in CRM, while recommending improvements for efficiency.
  • Coordinate fulfillment of customer samples for the sales team.
  • Act as a brand ambassador + bridge between the customer + Oberland.
  • Lead with Oberland’s values in internal + external interactions.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, with a proven ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Highly efficient, organized, + goal-oriented.
  • Stellar written + verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent data management skills.
  • Proficiency in managing customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical product details to support troubleshooting.
  • Experience using CRM systems, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Benefits
  • $50,000-$60,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus incentive program.

  • Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (37.5 hour work week)
  • Onsite position in Ragged Lake Business Park, Halifax, NS.
