Overview

Based at the Company's Athens, Ontario Office, this role focuses on providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone. The position involves collaborating with the Dispatcher to coordinate deliveries and dispatch drivers and trucks. Additionally, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) handles payments, generates invoices, and responds to customer and driver inquiries.

This is a full-time maternity leave coverage position (12-month term) starting May 12, 2025, offering 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Communicating with customers in person or by phone.
  2. Taking customer orders for goods or services and promoting these offerings.
  3. Providing account information, updating accounts, initiating billing, processing payments, and receiving payments for services.
  4. Performing accounts receivable tasks, including contacting customers.
  5. Processing daily bank deposits.
  6. Handling over-the-counter lubricant sales.
  7. Managing cardlock inventory fuel movements and administration.
  8. Completing and reviewing daily truck reports.
  9. Ensuring all customer billing is accurate and timely.
  10. Processing supplier invoices accurately and promptly.
  11. Preparing progress reports to monitor process controls.
  12. Contributing to the month-end closing process.
  13. Collaborating with sales and operations teams to assist with installations and repairs.

Other

  • Providing backup support for other CSRs.
  • Performing other duties as reasonably required.

What We Are Looking For

  • A college education in administration, business, or accounting is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative, clerical, or accounting role is required.
  • High computer literacy is essential.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate information to make sound business decisions quickly.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
