Job Description

  • Process customer orders
  • Answer customer questions regarding products, order time frames, and delivery timeframes
  • Process order changes when possible according to order procedures
  • Process and provide status on RMA-Return Material Authorization
  • Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests
  • Set up new customer accounts
  • De-escalate customers and notify management of customers that request to speak with a supervisor
  • Identify customer complaints and work with management team to resolve the issue
  • Work closely with credit department to resolve credit issues
  • Provide timely feedback to the company regarding customer concerns
  • Partner with sales team to meet and exceed customer service expectations
  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain customer information database
  • Notify management team for rush orders to provide customers with timely and realistic resolutions to their needs
  • Notify the management team for any information needed to complete job functions, e.g., pricing information not present in company system
  • Complete assigned work from supervisor, including quotes, orders, etc.
  • Complete quotes and orders following company procedure for Pap Plates
  • Complete quotes and orders following company procedure for available Hpt’s

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years Customer Service or related experience preferred; knowledge of customer service principles
  • Strong written, verbal, and telephone communication skills
  • Computer and data entry skills; organizational skills, detail-oriented, and good follow-up
  • Able to effectively manage multiple priorities and issues
