Schedule:

  • Monday and Wednesday: 3:00pm - 7:00pm
  • Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
  • Some flexibility to adjust hours during the week when necessary.
Overview
To ensure a welcoming environment and provide quality customer service to members at Spring River Wellness Center.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ability to open the fitness center on time and greet members as they arrive.
  • Answering and directing phone calls.
  • Selling new memberships and signing up new members.
  • Manage information in club ready software and the check-in system.
  • Operate the smoothie bar/snack hut.
  • Routine cleaning of facility.
  • Ensure members are following fitness center rules and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Provide high quality customer service with existing and potential members and provide facility tours as needed.
Typical Physical Demands and Working Conditions
  • Occasional bending, stretching or lifting.
  • May require contact with individuals with communicable diseases.
  • Ability to hear normal range of voice.
  • Demonstrate use of fitness equipment.
  • Have basic computer skills and use telephone equipment.
  • Occasional exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions in a clinical environment.
  • Periods in a normal office environment.
  • Frequent exposure to moderate to high noise level as typical in a fitness center environment.
Job Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Excellent public relation and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of health and fitness are a plus
  • Some computer skills and organization are of upmost importance
  • This position must pass background security and drug screen
