Job Description

At National Seating & Mobility (NSM), we provide complex rehabilitation seating, mobility, and positioning systems. With a dedicated network of professionals across Canada, we specialize in delivering personalized mobility solutions that enhance independence, safety, and comfort for our clients. Our mission is to empower individuals of all ages with mobility challenges, offering reassurance to families and caregivers while providing exceptional clinical support to therapists and healthcare professionals.

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team and help us continue our mission of transforming lives through mobility solutions.

Scope

The employee will interact with clients to provide support regarding medical equipment at NSM, resolve issues or complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Position Reports To: Branch Manager or Customer Service Manager (depending on organization size)

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist in-store customers.
  • Help customers select suitable equipment.
  • Answer calls, provide solutions, and coordinate equipment deliveries.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals for demos, trials, or rentals.
  • Organize repairs for wheelchairs, lifts, and other equipment.
  • Prepare quotes, send emails, schedule appointments, and maintain records.
  • Manage equipment from other locations.
  • Administer reservations and rentals with attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Record deliveries, billings, reservations, and service details, and prepare work orders.

Skills and Competencies

  • Knowledge of the Assistive Devices Program, ostomy, and wound care is an asset.
  • Handle multiple customer interactions effectively.
  • Manage information using IT systems.
  • Provide solutions based on client inquiries.
  • Experience in customer service for technical products/services.
  • Effective time management.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and listening skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
