Join Our Team as a Customer Service Representative!

At National Seating & Mobility (NSM), we provide complex rehabilitation seating, mobility, and positioning systems. With a dedicated network of professionals across Canada, we specialize in delivering personalized mobility solutions that enhance independence, safety, and comfort for our clients. Our mission is to empower individuals of all ages with mobility challenges, offering reassurance to families and caregivers while providing exceptional clinical support to therapists and healthcare professionals.

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team and help us continue our mission of transforming lives through mobility solutions.

Scope

As a Customer Service Representative, you will interact with clients to provide support regarding medical equipment at NSM, helping resolve issues or complaints to meet their needs and ensure satisfaction.

Position Reports To: Branch Manager or Customer Service Manager (depending on organizational size)

Role And Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Greet and assist customers in-store.
  • Assist customers in selecting suitable equipment.
  • Answer phone calls, provide solutions, and coordinate equipment deliveries to customers’ homes.
  • Build relationships with therapists and healthcare professionals for equipment demos, trials, or rentals.
  • Organize repair services for wheelchairs, lifts, and other medical equipment over the phone.
  • Prepare quotes, send emails, schedule appointments, and maintain client records.
  • Track medical equipment across different locations.
  • Manage equipment reservations and rentals with attention to detail and proper documentation.
  • Record customer deliveries, billings, reservations, and services, including preparing work orders and customer documentation.

Competencies / Skills

  • Handle multiple customer calls and in-person visits efficiently.
  • Manage information using IT systems.
  • Provide solutions based on client inquiries.
  • Previous experience in customer service for technical products or services.
  • Effective time management and scheduling skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and listening skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
