Position Overview

This is a general proactive posting for multiple locations throughout British Columbia, seeking to expand our advisory team.

Note: This is a part-time role. Candidates should be flexible to work within branch hours and be available for 3-5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects, identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions.
  2. Support customer requests, handle transactions, and assist walk-in customers.
  3. Engage customers warmly, meet their banking and transactional needs seamlessly.
  4. Promote digital and self-serve banking options to make banking easy, simple, and fast.
  5. Review customer profiles, engage in needs-based conversations, and identify opportunities.
  6. Contribute to branch business results and enhance the customer experience.
  7. Support operational activities such as inventory management, processing applications, and filing.
  8. Manage cash transactions, reconcile accounts, and execute routine tasks within service level agreements.
  9. Collaborate effectively within the branch and market team, supporting a versatile work environment.
  10. Understand customer banking and credit needs, integrating marketing promotions into conversations.
  11. Organize work information for accuracy and completeness.
  12. Proactively seek ways to personalize customer experiences and improve branch service.
  13. Follow risk and compliance policies to safeguard assets and maintain privacy.
  14. Stay informed about the financial marketplace, legal and regulatory environment, and industry standards.
  15. Identify suspicious activity related to money laundering and report as necessary.
  16. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  17. Complete standardized tasks under supervision, escalating issues when needed.
  18. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • No prior experience necessary; post-secondary education or related certification is desirable.
  • High-level knowledge of personal, commercial, and partner banking offers.
  • Comfortable using social media, tablets, smartphones, and online tools.
  • Ability to assist customers unfamiliar with digital applications.
  • Professional presence and basic knowledge of sales and business banking solutions.
  • Strong customer service orientation and resourcefulness.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good listening, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
  • Basic communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges from $33,850 to $44,000, depending on experience and location. Compensation may include performance incentives, bonuses, and other benefits such as health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plans. For more details, visit: Total Rewards.
