In this role, you will play a crucial part in promoting GFL's solid waste services to businesses and industrial establishments through professional and courteous interactions with customers.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of customer service call center experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet time deadlines, and perform under pressure.
  • Excellent data entry, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers and employees.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service through various channels, including in-person, telephone, email, and web interactions.
  • Clearly communicate, answer calls, resolve customer issues, and generate call-in work orders for drivers.
  • Run credit checks on new customers.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, promoting the GFL Environmental image through cooperation, employee partnership, and positive communication.
  • Adhere to all applicable federal, state/provincial, and local laws, regulations, ordinances, and company policies.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by management.
