IMA offers a unique process where precision tooling is combined with metal alloys and is used to join multiple components into a ready-to-use assembly with a single operation. Dynacast Peterborough is dedicated to designing, building, manufacturing, and delivering quality die cast components.

  • 40 multi-slide proprietary zinc die casting machines ranging from 12 to 21 tons
  • Five multi-slide proprietary zinc die casting machines ranging from 70 to 200 tons
  • Injected Metal Assembly (IMA) up to one ton
  • Precision tool building with in-house capabilities
  • Design, prototyping, and modeling services
  • Wide range of finishing surfaces including tumbling, polishing, shot blasting, and thermal de-burring
  • Cosmetic or protective coating equipment through certified suppliers or in-house
  • Secondary operations like CNC machining, tapping, reaming, and drilling

About The Role

The purpose of this role is to serve as our customer's designated "Go To Person," to monitor production of customer orders and escalate issues regarding quality and delivery to maintain Dynacast's reputation. This is a CONTRACT position for 3 months, with potential extension. Hours are 32-40 per week.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the customer's single point of contact for unresolved issues;
  • Ensure customer orders meet minimum quantity, value, pricing, and revision standards;
  • Proactively escalate serious issues;
  • Coordinate and communicate with relevant functions to resolve issues and inform customers of delays;
  • Follow Dynacast Quality Policies & Procedures in compliance with IATF;
  • Develop relationships with key customers, reps, and subcontractors;
  • Recommend production requirements to meet customer needs;
  • Familiarity with all Dynacast Sales Policies.

Experience

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Team player with organizational and conflict resolution skills;
  • Sense of urgency;
  • Knowledge of QAD or similar MRP systems and MS Office;
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently.
