Your future role
Reporting to Chris Leopold, Customer Service Manager, as a Customer Service Officer (CSO), you lead Customer Service activities, from understanding customer needs to developing an appropriate strategy and a close & trusting relationship. You are in charge of leading the quotation process and coordinating all relevant administrative action steps until payment is received.
This is a permanent full-time (40h/week) position requiring flexibility and mobility to be able to make occasional visits to various Alstom sites or to Customers facilities, such as STM, as well as the ability to work in an international, multi-site and matrix organization.
While interacting daily with co-workers, customers, suppliers and management, all activities will be performed in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures as prescribed by legislation and the ALSTOM Health & Safety policies.
You’ll be specifically responsible for
· Handling customer enquiries and requests for quotations
· Monitoring proactively customer orders until payment in accordance with QCD commitments
· Processing invoicing/credits as well as managing confidential financial in SAP system
· Maintaining accuracy and validity of the price lists/Manage Availability Contracts
· Investigating customer returns/rejects and handle warranty claims while interfacing with Technical, Quality, Finance and Supply Chain
