Position Title:Customer Service Consultant - Identification Services
Location:Commissionaires – Victoria, BC
Wage: $23.50/ an hour
Section: ID Services
Hours:0800 to 1600, Monday to Friday, with flexibility available to accommodate client and your schedule


JOB SUMMARY:
As a Customer Service Consultant, you will play a key role in our identification services business by applying your excellent customer service skills to work in a team environment and provide fingerprinting, process serving and other regulatory checks. Additionally, you will also havethe opportunity to roll up your sleeves and support our customers with their request for services using Live Scan and requesting CPIC reports. We will provide training to help ensure your success in the role.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Efficient delivery of all identification service offerings including; police clearances, fingerprinting, public works clearances, record suspensions, US travel waivers and future new offerings
  • Liaises with various institutions and organizations relating to clearances and fingerprinting
  • Ensures the security, privacy and confidentiality of clients and documents
  • An engaging approach to customer service, inspiring the CVIY team throughout
  • Willingness to learn Process Serving duties
  • Willingness to learnPardon Services Requests and US Waivers procedures
  • Documentation of services and managing transactions
  • Interact with other divisions in the country from time to time
  • Liaises with Supervisor/Management regarding the day-to-day operations of ID services
  • Other duties may be assigned as the business grows


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES:
  • A respect for, and good understanding of the Criminal Justice system in Canada
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Teams, Excel and Outlook Calendar
  • A willingness to be trained and learn the services offered
  • Holds a valid BC Drivers license (preferred)
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, while flexible and adaptable to change
  • Strong administrative skills and attentive to detail
  • Ability to attain a Level II (SECRET) Government of Canada security clearance
  • Willingness to travel to client sites if and as required
  • Proficiency in other languages considered an asset
