Job Overview

Job Title: Customer Service and Inside Sales Representative - Building materials

Our client is a leader in specialty building products in North America. They are looking to add another Inside salesperson to their team, to service the Kelowna customer base. The existing sales team of 9 has their hands so full that they could use an extra body to support them. The primary function of this role includes providing support to outside sales reps by building rapport and maintaining customer relationships over the phone, following through on customer POs, and ensuring inventory is stocked as required, including purchasing.

The Job:

  • You will be fielding calls from existing clients and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Learn about and promote new product lines.
  • Purchasing and inventory management.
  • Provide customers with professional recommendations on options as well as pricing and availability data to meet customers' needs.
  • Manage and maintain appropriate stock levels for the area programs.

The ideal candidate:

Someone with an aptitude to learn, and a knack for sales and building relationships. You are a personable and strong communicator. You are competitive, persuasive, detail-oriented (without getting bogged down in the details), and well-versed in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.).

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
