Job Description

This position requires an individual to maintain a department culture focused on fostering positive relationships with co-workers and supporting departments without exception. The role involves maintaining the integrity of the company's reputation by ensuring departmental requests are executed promptly, aligning with the company's best interests and financial goals.

Accountabilities
  1. Prepare and review reports for Customer Service Managers.
  2. Prepare detailed cost estimates, invoices, and sales orders.
  3. Review information on estimates and invoices with Customer Service Managers.
  4. Provide assistance and support to the Manager of Customer Services and Customer Service team.
  5. Complete costing, cost transfers, and miscellaneous cost entries.
  6. Coordinate information with the engine shop when necessary.
  7. Coordinate with other shops to request shop visits for warranty and calculate applicable pro-rata credits on estimates and invoices.
  8. Prepare warranty claim sheets and submit claims to P&WC through the SAP system, maintaining ongoing liaison with P&WC representatives.
  9. Forward necessary entries to the accounting department.
  10. Answer incoming calls and provide frontline support.
  11. Perform all other duties as required to ensure departmental efficiency.
  12. Monitor warranty payments from P&WC.
  13. Model behaviors consistent with good quality, health, safety, and environmental practices.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum grade 12 education with related post-secondary training or equivalent work experience.
  2. Work experience in Accounting, Sales, Customer Service, or a related field.
  3. Ability to multitask and adapt roles as required.
  4. Strong mathematical skills.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Strong technical learning ability.
  7. Industry knowledge is an asset.
  8. Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office.
  9. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
  10. Self-motivated.
Working Environment
  1. Work primarily in an office setting, with extended periods at a computer.
  2. Willingness to walk throughout the facility and carry parts, requiring safety shoes.
  3. No regular PPE required unless working in specific areas.
  4. Overtime may occasionally be necessary to fulfill responsibilities.
