Right now, we’re recruiting Customer Sales Advisors for our Retention department in a role that offers great work life balance plus a flexible and engaging onboarding experience.

The role you’ll do

As a Customer Sales Advisor In Our Retentions Team, You’ll Be The First Of Call For Customers Who Are Renewing Or Cancelling Their Plans. Day-to-day, You’ll

  • Use your brilliant sales and customer service skills to suggest other products that give added peace of mind.
  • Share the features and benefits of protection products to help customers find the one that’s right for them.
  • Build rapport with customers, get to know their individual needs and put their interests first, so they continue their protection with us.

  • You can work fully remotely if you choose. We’ll provide all the equipment you need to work from home, you’ll just need to have broadband access.
  • Alternatively, if you live within a commutable distance from our Nottingham office you can work on a hybrid basis. We've just opened a brand new office right next to the train station. You'll enjoy a state of the art working environment where you can collaborate with colleagues and receive hands on support.
  • You will work 37.5 hours per week and receive £24,500 per annum with competitive OTE commission on top.

What Else To Expect

  • In a 5-week training programme you’ll learn our systems, meet your new colleagues, perfect your sales technique and learn what makes a great customer experience.
  • You’ll work a flexible 37.5-hour shift across the following hours : Monday – Friday : 08 : 00 – 20 : 00, Saturdays : 08 : 00 – 18 : 00 and Sundays : 09 : 00 – 18 : 00.
  • You will be required to work 2 x Saturdays in every 5. On these weeks you will have an allocated day off during that week.
  • Joining as one of our Customer Sales Advisors, you will receive extensive training and support allowing you to develop your sales expertise. You will have excellent progression potential at D&G, with opportunities to progress into career pathways across many areas such as HR, Tech, Finance and Marketing. We actively encourage growth and development and many of our employees go on to explore further opportunities across the business.

  • A solid background in targeted sales.
  • A driven mindset with strong sales skills and a love for hitting targets
  • Proven experience of working autonomously or in a home-based position
  • Great communication skills – you’re at ease building rapport, listening to customers and demonstrating empathy when needed
  • A team player committed to creating an excellent customer experience
  • Unflappable and resilient attitude to juggle tasks and bounce back quickly
