Customer Relationship & Marketing Process Lead

This role aims to:

  • Make Bayer the preferred provider for customers’ operations
  • Enable customer-facing teams to run their local businesses effectively
  • Uncover insights for data-driven decisions to enhance customer experience and loyalty

Bayer offers a flexible hybrid working environment. This is a permanent position based in Canada, preferably in Calgary, Alberta.

What you will do:

Customer Data & Business Processes

  • Improve data generation and population processes
  • Ensure secure storage and proper use of customer data with consent
  • Identify and address data gaps to improve customer connections
  • Reduce data transfer inefficiencies to save resources and improve customer satisfaction
  • Manage vendor relationships and act as IT liaison for application delivery
  • Integrate structural data flows from various sources to develop digital customer connections
  • Represent Canada in North American strategies for customer data applications and tools

Program Management

  • Implement best practices for program optimization
  • Support management of unit-level customer loyalty programs
  • Oversee the Discount and Rebate Tool (DART) system in Canada for compliance and tracking

Who you are:

  • B.A./B.S. in Agriculture, Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Relevant experience in the Canadian agriculture sector, especially in Ag Seeds & CP areas
  • Strong understanding of CRM tools, data processes, and Bayer’s portfolio
  • Knowledge of grower customer acquisition, cross-selling, upselling, and loyalty marketing
  • Detail-oriented with technical skills in data management and analysis
  • Experience with digital tools for data management and interpretation
  • Innovative mindset to challenge the status quo
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and pay attention to detail
  • Effective in cross-functional teamwork, managing multiple priorities
  • Committed to collaboration and co-creation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with minimal supervision
