Role Overview

The Customer Manager manages all aspects of Colgate's relationship with the customer. This position negotiates with the customer to achieve the company's 5P strategies for all brands/categories and deliver annual sales/share targets within spending parameters. A key member of the Customer Development Organization, the incumbent will help drive superior business results through relationship building, solid analytics, program evaluation, and development and delivery of business plans.

What You Will Do
  • Develop, negotiate, and implement a Customer Plan to achieve Financial and 5P objectives for all of Colgate's brands/categories and deliver annual sales/share targets.
  • Utilize available Category Management Tools (e.g., Nielsen Desktop, Atlas, LDIA) to understand consumption and shipment data, identify performance trends, and uncover opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Customer Development, Marketing, and Supply Chain to build business opportunities and ensure planning accuracy.
  • Maintain weekly touchpoints with eCommerce teams.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Customer Development role within the consumer products industry
  • Experience in developing strategies and plans responding to shopper/customer trends to meet commercial goals
  • Experience managing a P&L for a multi-million dollar business
  • Proficient in LDIA, Nielsen, Numerator, and Atlas tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Category Management experience
  • 1-3 years of experience managing Grocery customers as a Customer Manager
  • Previous experience supporting Loblaws
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate internally and externally
