Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Amherstburg, Ontario is seeking a General Merchandise Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers with product selection, and support stocking and sales activities across the general merchandise area.

You will maintain a clean, organized sales floor, assist with floor coverage during shifts, and adapt to evenings, weekends, and holidays to help the store run smoothly and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an Excellent Customer Experience: greet customers, assist with product selection, promote products and services, help locate merchandise, support purchase decisions and refer concerns as needed.
• Sales Floor Coverage and Team Support: cover assigned areas and assist with Front End coverage as required; ensure floor coverage to meet customer needs.
• Merchandising, Zoning, and Recovery: zone areas, move feature merchandise, recover items from Service Desk and other areas.
• Stocking and Modular Execution: stock merchandise, complete downstocking, apply protection, set/recover modulars and shelves.
• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance: maintain safe, clean environment, complete safety logs, ensure displays/fixtures are secure.
• Flexibility: work various shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays as needed.
