Job summary

Momentum Financial Services Group, trading as Money Mart, is seeking a dedicated Financial Service Representative in Cranbrook. You will engage customers, assess lending and financial needs, and promote suitable solutions while delivering outstanding service in a busy branch environment.

You will handle cash and POS transactions, uphold regulatory requirements, and contribute to sales targets. Training includes Ready to Work Alone certification and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in retail sales, sales or similar roles.
• 1+ years of experience in customer service and cash handling.
• Experience with POS transactions is a plus.
• Track record of achieving sales goals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service by assessing needs and completing transactions.
• Promote, process loans, credit cards, cheque cashing, money transfers and other products.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities to increase product awareness and reach sales goals.
• Explain product features, fees, terms, and payment options clearly using approved materials.
• Collect and verify customer information to process applications accurately.
• Maintain complete and accurate customer records in required systems.
• Contact past-due customers to discuss payment arrangements within guidelines.
• Follow KYC, AML/ATF, privacy, and fraud prevention procedures.
• Process cash and POS transactions and reconcile cash at end of shift.
• Support branch appearance and readiness; assist with opening/closing paperwork.
