Job summary

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Carry and replace linen; clean and sanitize items and surfaces.
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs; stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Load buspans and trays; operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
• Package take-out food; portion and wrap foods; prepare simple items.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables; take customers' orders.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit; use appliances to clean and trim foodstuffs.
• Keep records of food used; cleanup kitchen areas and storage spaces.
