Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart is hiring for a Customer Service Clerk to maintain excellent service at the checkout and assist customers with their purchases in our community. You will greet customers, scan items accurately, manage cash and payments, and uphold store policies.

You'll work in a friendly team, follow merchandising standards, help with loss prevention, and keep the checkout area neat while delivering a warm, helpful shopping experience in a locally owned and operated store within the national

Qualifications

• Strong computer and register skills.
• Well organized with the ability to record keep.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and engage with all customers
• Maintain neat and organized checkout area
• Greet all customers and display warm demeanor
• Accurately scans or enters product data
• Accurately accounts for cash and coupon, lottery, and PC Optimum
• Ask for customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction
• Merchandises and maintains designated areas (i.e., facing, signing, labeling, etc)
• Ensures proper documentation completed with respect to customers receipt and return of goods
• Maintains loss prevention standards and controls cash, lottery, and stamp inventory
• Presents proper image to the public per Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines
• Complies with all health and safety regulations and store policies
• Ensures housekeeping and image standards are maintained
• Performs other duties as required
