About The Role

Based in our Griesbach location in Edmonton, we are seeking experienced Customer Experience Representatives who excel at handling various situations. Responsibilities include maintaining store presentation, becoming knowledgeable about cannabis products, and sharing this knowledge with customers. We seek proactive individuals who enjoy meeting new people and building relationships within this growing industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, engage in conversations, and understand their needs
• Create a welcoming environment
• Educate customers about cannabis products and consumption methods
• Participate in merchandising and promotional activities
• Collaborate with team members and store managers to drive sales
• Maintain product and industry knowledge, including legislation and trends
• Ensure store cleanliness and participate in routine maintenance
• Process transactions and adhere to cash handling and loss prevention procedures
• Monitor and restock inventory regularly

Regulatory Compliance

• Follow OH&S policies and procedures
• Support Nova Cannabis’s and provincial social responsibility programs
• Adhere to company policies and operational practices

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
• Minimum 2 years of retail or hospitality experience
• Experience in cannabis, liquor, or healthcare preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid certifications such as CannSell, SellSafe, or QCW
• Criminal Record Check clearance
• Knowledge of cannabis regulations in the applicable province
