About The Role
Based at our Value Buds Franklin Avenue location in Fort McMurray, AB, we seek experienced Customer Experience Representatives who excel in customer engagement and store maintenance. Candidates will become knowledgeable about cannabis products and share this expertise with customers. We value proactive individuals who enjoy meeting new people and building relationships in this emerging industry.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Greet customers, engage in conversations to understand their needs, and create a welcoming environment.
  • Education: Inform customers about cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
  • Operations: Participate in merchandising, promotional activities, and collaborate with team members to increase sales. Maintain product knowledge, store cleanliness, and complete transactions following all procedures. Monitor and restock inventory regularly.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Follow all health and safety policies, support social responsibility programs, and adhere to provincial and company policies.

Experience and Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Minimum 2 years in retail or hospitality, with preference for cannabis, liquor, or healthcare sectors.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid certifications such as CannSell, SellSafe, or QCW.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations in the applicable province.
