Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Customer Experience Representative to remotely support Ontario customers by phone and email, ensuring superior service and accurate order handling.

You will collaborate with sales, operations, marketing, IT and finance to resolve inquiries, process orders, manage warranties, and maintain strong customer relationships while meeting service levels and company policies.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related customer service/industry experience
• Ability to communicate professionally at all times with customers and colleagues
• Understand basic customer needs and expectations to resolve requests promptly
• Communicate solutions to customers in clear ways
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication with problem-solving
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and manufacturing operating systems

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via phone or email to resolve issues about product availability, orders, pricing and policies
• Administer product warranty programs including credits, replacements and RMAs
• Edit, enter and modify customer orders accurately in the business system
• Advise customers on basic product applications as needed
• Represent Allegion daily through customer contact and relationships
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve account issues
• Gather information for measurement, analysis and reporting
• Update systems to support company processes
• Meet all service level agreements set by management
• Adhere to Allegion Canada policies and Health & Safety procedures

Customer Experience Representative-Remote Ontario

Work Schedule: M-F 8-4:30 pm EST. 1 hour lunch

Job Summary

This position will interact with external and key customers, via email and phone to provide superior level of customer service. This position will also work closely with various internal departments including sales, operations, marketing, IT and finance to deliver a positive customer experience while meeting our corporate goals.

What You Will Do

• Communicate directly with key customers via phone or email to identify and resolve a wide variety of issues and inquiries regarding product availability, order fulfillment, change orders, programs, pricing and policies.
• Research, document and administer product warranty programs including credits, replacements and return material authorizations.
• Edit, enter and modify customer orders in the business operating system in an accurate and timely manner, as required.
• Act as consultant to advise basic product application.
• Represent the organization daily through customer contact and relationship-building.
• Work with internal departments to enable accurate account management and resolution of customer issues.
• Gather information for measurement, analysis and reporting.
• Make all necessary modifications and updates in the business systems to support all company processes.
• Meet all service level agreements as set by management.
• Adhere to all Allegion Canada Inc. policies and procedures including Health and Safety.

What You Need to Succeed

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum 2 years related customer service /industry experience
• Ability to communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner at all times with all levels of customers, clients, visitors and employees.
• Understand basic customer needs and expectations to provide prompt effective resolution to requests.
• Ability to communicate solutions to customers in ways they can understand and implement.
• Self-motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to apply problem solving techniques.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and manufacturing operating systems.

Education

Post-Secondary Education / equivalent years of experience preferred

Compensation

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. The expected Base Salary Range: $50,000 to $60,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Bonus Eligible: Yes {LIP 5%} Equity Eligible: No Holiday & PTO Pay Eligible: Yes Overtime Eligible: Yes
