Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of its service and assist customers with rentals and equipment inspections. You will work with a team, use U-Scan technology, and help manage inventory while educating customers on products and services.

The role includes moving and hooking up trucks, minor repairs, truck/trailer wiring, and ongoing U-Haul training, with potential for advancement. Part-time hours and a focus on excellent service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Perform minor truck/trailer repairs.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Other duties as assigned
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
