Job summary

Zehrs, part of Loblaw, is hiring Cashiers to greet customers, scan products, and process transactions, while delivering a friendly shopping experience. You’ll join a team in a fast-paced retail environment, handle cash and card payments, and help promote store promotions.

No prior experience required; we provide training. Flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends; ability to lift 25 lbs; commitment to diversity and inclusion. This is a unionized position with a starting wage range.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work various hours including days, evenings and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service and assist customers with inquiries.
• Scan products and process transactions accurately.
• Support promotions and store programs as directed.
• Handle cash and credit/debit card transactions.
• Keep the register area neat and stocked with supplies.
• Assist customers with general inquiries and maintain a positive store environment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth checkout operations.
