Job summary

RONA is seeking a cashier/store administrator to greet customers, process transactions accurately, and maintain clean checkout areas. You will balance cash reports and ensure adherence to loss prevention and health/safety policies while supporting seamless store operations.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, detail orientation, and experience with cash register systems. The role is on-site at our Canadian locations with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner
• Process transactions precisely and accurately
• Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures regarding loss prevention as well as health and safety
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
