Job summary

Cleveland Designs is seeking a Mechanical Technician to transform ideas into high-performance builds. You’ll work hands-on on fabrication, welding, electrical upgrades, and detailed assembly, delivering unique vehicles from concept to completed project.

Candidates should have formal automotive tech training and at least two years of hands-on experience, with a strong toolset and collaborative mindset to work with the team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in metal fabrication and welding (TIG/MIG).
• Ability to read blueprints or wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on automotive fabrication and assembly experience.
• Two+ years of hands-on experience preferred.
• Must bring a personal tool set.

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade mechanical systems on custom builds.
• Fabricate, weld, and assemble metal components.
• Perform electrical upgrades and wiring work.
• Modify suspensions, drivetrains, and exhaust systems.
• Diagnose fitment or mechanical issues on one-off builds.
