Job Description:

Pay Range: $40hr - $47hr

Responsibilities:

• Floorplan and create cell, block, and macro-level full custom analog and mixed-signal layouts and DRC/LVS verified circuits using industry-leading design tools.
• Perform RC extraction and EM analysis to troubleshoot complex design issues and apply proactive interventions.
• Participate in developing methodologies and flow efficiencies to enhance design processes.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a multi-site team setting, contributing to quick engineering solutions for complex problems.
• Interface with engineers and managers, providing schedule updates and ensuring high-quality, disciplined, and accurate results for engineering customers.

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering.
• Good understanding of high-speed custom layout, floorplanning, RC extraction, layout optimization, and verification.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, problem-solve and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Natural focus on quality and discipline, with a keen interest in learning and applying new techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of ESD, lithography, EM, DFM, antenna effects, and manufacturing challenges.
• Experience with UNIX, including scripting and debugging.
