Superior-Greenstone District School Board is seeking casual relief custodians for Dorion Public School to perform snow removal, sanding and salting to keep walkways and parking areas safe during winter conditions.
Applicants must be available for early mornings, Monday to Friday, during winter precipitation events, be able to read and communicate in English, have a valid G licence and be willing to work on-call as needed.

Snow clearing services may be performed multiple times during a single snowfall event, depending on the intensity and duration of the precipitation. The frequency of service will be influenced by accumulation rates, weather forecasts, and the need to maintain safe and accessible surfaces. Additional clearing may be necessary during prolonged or heavy snowfall to ensure continued access and minimize hazards.
Equipment provided
Ability to read, write and understand English.
Physical ability to carry out the requirements of the job.
Minimum of one year of relevant experience operating heavy equipment and/or truck and plow preferred
Demonstrated regular attendance at work and be available on call during winter months
Able to problem solve, Mechanical knowledge an asset
Strong interpersonal skills
